Beautiful, superb maintained little boutique hotel not far from Sintra and the coast. The room was spacious, very comfortable and beautifully decorated and cosy. If we reallwant to split hairs here, the view to the car park of the nearby pharmacy was the only thing that didn’t impressed us. The other common spaces were great, nicely decorated as well.The staff was very friendly, polite and welcoming, the breakfast was good and overall it was a surprisingly pleasant stay, would definitely go back or recommend

This is a 'Marmite' place - you either like it or not. My husband thought it was ok but I found it rather unsettling. It is like staying in a museum. The place is stuffed full of antiques and religious artifacts and paintings interspersed bizarrely with 1960s/70s furniture and fittings. Our 'bedroom' was the front room by the front door and had a mixture of a 70s sofa and armchair and lighting with antique wardrobe and pictures. It was clean and the bed was comfortable and huge. It is right on a busy junction so there is a lot of traffic noise. We thought we would be met by the host but the woman who met is seemed to be a staff member. As it was a Sunday night we asked where we could eat but she seemed uncertain as to what was open and mentioned only one place which she gave us vague directions to. Having walked there to find it closed we then walked on for a while and eventually found a bar serving food. On our way back we saw an open restaurant near the b&B and we could have been given better details of where it eat with certain opening times. We didn't see anyone most of the time including at breakfast which was mostly sweet pastries with some cheese and ham but no cooked food unlike the other places we stayed. It was adequate but not amazing.

Love all the interior design and the owner is creative and nice he shows me all the art collection he owns . Super comfy and was a wonderful stay 🤓

This is an incredibly beautiful and interestingly renovated/decorated chalet. The style is eclectic but tasteful. It is just 5 km out of Sintra with a beautiful scenic drive here. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The owners are discrete but very welcoming| After a long day walking and exploring, coming home for a.swim and a read is wonderful. The breakfast will fuel you all day with a mix.of.traditional breakfast fare and home.cooking. Excellent value for money. Easy access with a vehicle to local beaches and a number of local restaurants. Parking for small fee at Chalet or on adjacent parking areas. Highly recommend.

This place is like Marmite - it either floats your boat or it doesn't. My husband thought it was ok but I thought it was strange and rather unsettling. We had hoped for more of a welcome from our host. When we arrived on a Sunday evening and having no car we asked where we could eat - the woman mentioned the only one place open on a Sunday and gave us vague directions. When we got there the place was closed but after walking on for about 15 mins we found a bar doing food. However when walking back we found a good restaurant near the b&B was open - we thought we could have had more help with dining and opening times. Breakfast was ok - a lot of sweet items and pastries, bread and cheese - no hot food and no-one serving. It wasn't the best we had on our trip but was adequate.

Beautiful house, beautifully furnished - with hip eclectic style, not fussy. Super friendly and generous host/owner. Love my room, with its comfortable bed and plenty of space. I appreciate both the overall approach to decoration and the lovely vignettes. Everything is immaculate. Nice sherry bar and tea, and a welcoming sitting room. And, although this chalet is small and personal, there’s a pool and a gym! (Though I opted for some stretching in my spacious room.) Breakfast was spectacular!! He says they make the croissants in house! Abundant, varied, luxurious!

The place is wonderful. We had a really nice stay there, the stuff was really friendly and helpful. We espiecially are thankful for the lady who was waiting longer than her job lasted with our lougagge. Thank You 🩷 When we get there we had an upgrade for the bigger room with the garden view was perfect.

Great service Very good hotel We spent 2 nights here and were amazed by the hospitality of the staff There is a paid parking space and also a warm pool There are some restaurants in a walking distance but generally you'll need a car to drive around Highly recommend this place for a relaxing time with your family and love ones
