AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Ines's Secret Beach is a quiet stretch of soft white sand on Hanalei Bay, tucked just west of the busy Hanalei Beach Park on Kauai's north shore. Crossed by a short trail from the roadside, this hidden gem rewards visitors with dramatic mountain views, a protective offshore reef, and a peaceful atmosphere far removed from the crowds that fill more accessible beaches along Kuhio Highway.↗↗
Getting There
Ines's Secret Beach sits along Route 560 (Kuhio Highway) just minutes west of Hanalei town. From the Hanalei Beach Park area, drive a couple of minutes westward and cross Wapia Bridge; the beach is directly to your right immediately after the bridge. There is no official parking lot, but a roadside pull-off accommodates roughly fifteen vehicles — a built-in crowd control that keeps this spot feeling intimate. If the pull-off is full, you can park at Hanalei Beach Park and walk east along the shore or highway to reach it. A short trail leads down from the road to the sand, making it a quick but scenic descent.↗↗↗
