AT A GLANCE
Why go?
İsabeyli Mesire Alanı is a public recreation ground on the edge of Nazilli in Aydın province — part woodland, part picnic field, part walking spot — set in the pine grove locality known as Çamlık Mevkii. The Turkish word mesire means an "outing ground," a place deliberately kept green and free so city families can escape for the day, and this hillside site is exactly that: a patch of shade, benches and open grass a short drive from the town centre.↗↗↗
Classified as a hiking area and open around the clock, İsabeyli works less as a single attraction than as a local habit. Visitors come to walk the grassy slopes, lay out a picnic under the pines, let children run and play, and linger into the warm Aydın evenings. It is most alive on weekends, in spring, and after work hours, when the cool green hilltop fills with families seeking the kind of easy outdoor break that the busy streets of Nazilli itself don't always offer.↗↗
