AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Plaja Salbatica is a small beachfront pavilion on the seafront of Eforie Nord, the long-running Black Sea resort south of Constanța. Listed as a beach pavilion at Emil Racoviță 58, it marks one of the access and lounging points along the resort's broad band of sand, sitting at the quieter, cliff-backed end of the Eforie Nord beach rather than in the thick of the big beach-club crowds around Belona and Debarcader.↗↗↗
It is the kind of place you come to for the sea, the sand and the easy rhythm of a Romanian summer holiday: a pavilion where you can rent a sunbed and umbrella, dip into water that shelves gently at first, then climb the steps back up to the promenade for a sunset stroll with a coffee or a cold drink in hand.↗↗↗
A beachfront pavilion on the Eforie Nord sand
Eforie Nord's beach unfurls for roughly three to four kilometres along the resort and widens to almost a hundred metres in places, broken into named segments each with its own character. Plaja Salbatica takes its form as one of those pieces: a beach pavilion and sun-lounging area set at the water's edge, part of the continuous strip of sand that runs from the resort centre toward the Eforie Sud isthmus.
