Ko Kra
Ko Kra (เกาะกระ) is a small, uninhabited island sitting in the central stretch of Songkhla Lake, the largest lagoon in Thailand and one of the biggest in Southeast Asia. Part of a quiet limestone archipelago off Pak Phayun District in Phatthalung, it is reached only by boat and is known for a cluster of devotional shrines, a mirror-calm pond and a perimeter walkway set among rich fishing waters. Unlike its well-known neighbours Ko Si and Ko Ha—the famed swiftlet's-nest islands—Ko Kra has no bird-nest caves and no permanent residents. Instead it draws visitors for its temples and statues, its nature trails and its past as a shelter for fishermen working the lake. Think of it as a calm, easy half-day escape rather than a resort destination.
