Ingram Lake
Ingram Lake is a small, quiet body of water set in the rural landscape of East Hants, Nova Scotia, in the heart of Hants County. Officially named since 1946, this unassuming lake sits at approximately 36 metres elevation near the community of Upper Nine Mile River, surrounded by the mixed forests and rolling terrain characteristic of the region. There are no developed visitor facilities or marked public access points at Ingram Lake itself, making it a place to appreciate from the surrounding countryside rather than a destination with structured activities. However, the nearby Nine Mile River Trail system — about 10 kilometres of maintained multi-use paths — and two local campgrounds offer ways to experience the same tranquil part of East Hants.
