Gündoğdu Zirve
Gündoğdu Zirve is a windswept summit above the old hill village of Gündoğdu, on the southern edge of Osmangazi in Bursa, and it is loved for a single, memorable trick of geography: stand with your back to the great bulk of Uludağ and the view opens two ways at once. On one side lies the sprawling green Bursa plain; on the other, the bright blue of the Sea of Marmara and the Gemlik Gulf come up to meet you, with the coastline and distant ridges laid out like a map. Locals call it one of the finest viewpoints in the whole province, and the steady 4.7-star rating from its many photos and reviews is almost entirely about that panorama. This is not a manicured terrace with cafés but a rough, open hilltop crowned by radio and TV transmission masts and a small wind farm, where you park the car, walk the last stretch and let the wind and the view do the work. It rewards a clear day, an evening visit or a sunrise, and a sense of adventure about the road up. For hikers, trail runners and a growing circle of day-trippers, it has become one of Bursa's best-known escape points for clearing your head.
