Mount Kocacal
Mount Kocaçal (Kocaçal Dağı), rising to just over 2,000 metres in the Erenler Mountains southwest of Konya, is a rewarding day-hike destination for walkers who want elevated views over Anatolia's vast central plain without the crowds of Turkey's famous peaks. Known locally by the alternative name Çatal Tepe and accessed from the village of Tepekent, the mountain offers a moderate 2–3 hour round-trip through open slopes with panoramic sightlines across Konya Province on clear days.
