Høgafjellet
Høgafjellet is the roof of Osterøy, Norway's largest inland island, and at 868 metres it is the highest point both on the island and across the whole municipality. It stands on the boundary between Osterøy and Vaksdal, a short distance west of the Veafjord, and from its summit cairn (the Høgafjellsvarden) the view runs 360 degrees in every direction. It is a serious day-tour rather than a stroll, but the reward is one of the broadest panoramas on the island.
