Cerro Apoquindo
Cerro Apoquindo is one of Santiago's remaining cerros isla — low, rounded hilltops that were once part of the Sierra de Ramón pre-Andean ridge before the city swallowed them. Standing at roughly 863 metres, this modest hill in the wealthy Las Condes commune offers a pocket of wild green inside an upscale neighborhood, and the Municipality of Las Condes is transforming it into a new public viewpoint park with panoramic sightlines across the city.
