Response from the property
Dear Michael, We appreciate you sharing your comments with us. We are pleased you found your room to be clean, as maintaining high housekeeping standards is a priority for us. However, we are sincerely sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We regret to hear that you experienced discomfort with the condition of the room and that the internet connection did not work reliably for you. Our intention is for all features, including connectivity, to support your plans comfortably from arrival to departure. Nonetheless, we are glad that the hotel’s proximity to Chamartin station was convenient for your travel needs. The chance to offer effortless access to Madrid’s main transportation network is something we take pride in. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back on a future occasion. Kind regards, Responsable de Calidad y Reputación Online Hotel Chamartín The One
The hotel itself has plenty: its Restaurant, Bar, Cafe, Lobby bar, and Snack bar are all right there. The 2nd floor restaurant and bar serve good food away from the station bustle. Just outside the station's main entrance you'll find a Burger King. Inside Chamartin station there are various food outlets with quick bites. So you can eat without leaving the building, or grab something steps away at the station.
The hotel sits right inside Chamartín station, so you are in a busy transport hub with metro lines 1 and 10, local trains, buses, and a taxi rank at the door. The immediate area is business-focused, with Paseo de la Castellana a five-minute walk away, putting you among office towers and corporate life. Just outside the station you will find a Burger King, and the station concourse itself has food outlets and vending machines for quick bites. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is five minutes by metro, and central sights like Puerta del Sol are about seven minutes by commuter train. The area around you is practical and connected, ideal for starting your Madrid explorations.
The hotel is right inside Madrid Chamartin Clara Campoamor station, so if you arrive by train, you are already there. From Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport, take the Cercanías commuter train directly to Chamartin station, about 11 minutes from Terminal 4. The station is served by metro lines 1 and 10, plus city buses and a 24-hour taxi rank at the main entrance. Once you exit the train, follow signs for the hotel; it is on the west side of the station, a short walk from the main concourse. For a direct ride from the airport, taxis stop outside the terminals. The hotel is also just five minutes on foot from Plaza de Castilla.
For the evening, the hotel's own Bar, Restaurant, Lobby bar, Snack bar and Cafe offer a range of drinks and snacks right on site. Just outside, the Chamartín area has a bowling alley, a skating rink and a modern gym for active nights. The station itself has food outlets and a Burger King if you want a quick bite. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is five minutes by metro, and the surrounding Castellana area is close by for a stroll. You can easily continue into the city centre by metro or Cercanías, with Puerta del Sol just seven minutes away.
Hotel Chamartin the One is a solid base, especially for first-time visitors and business travelers. It sits right at Chamartin station, with metro lines 1 and 10 and suburban trains putting the whole city within easy reach. The main sights, like Puerta de Alcalá and the Cibeles Fountain, are about 5.8 to 5.9 kilometers away, so you will need a short metro or taxi ride to reach them. El Retiro Park and the Temple of Debod are a similar distance, roughly 6 kilometers from the hotel. For a closer option, the Santiago Bernabéu stadium is just five minutes away by metro. You can also join day tours to Segovia, Avila, and Toledo from Madrid, as the hotel's station connections make those easy to arrange.
