The hotel is on the edge of town near the hospital, a bus stop is across the road and bus comes every 30 minutes. We walked into town a few times it took 15 minutes. The hotel is excellent, very modern, the rooms spacious clean and guiet, we got a great nights sleep. We stayed 7 nights, the pool area is spotless and peaceful. The restauraunt is amazing, maybe some tapas could be included, but the food excellent. Breakfast has so many options, we did not get bored. The bar has a good selection, I teased the staff as there was no Irish whiskey, but plenty of choice. Also an honesty bar for late night's. Girona is a lovely city, many site to see and bars, restaurants to visit. Too many good ones to list. The staff in hotel are amazing a great team, they made our stay all the better. We will deffo come back.

Our stay in this hotel was delightful. It's a 15 min walk from Girona historical center. The rooms are comfy and well equipped. The pool is clean and refreshing during hot days. The staff was so nice and respectful. Giving guide and recommendations to visit and to eat. Totally recommend a stay here.

Hotel Costabella is a solid, reliable choice if you are visiting Girona. The rooms are clean and spacious, providing plenty of comfort during your stay. One of the highlights is how well-equipped the hotel is for cyclists, featuring a highly secure bike box that gives you great peace of mind. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the positive experience. Breakfast is high quality with good coffee to start your day right. Location & Amenities Parking: There is a spacious, convenient parking lot right at the hotel. Convenience: A supermarket is located just a short walk away. Distance to town: It is a manageable 2 km walk into the historic old town center. Tip on Dining: While the breakfast is great, I would recommend heading into the city center for dinner rather than eating at the hotel restaurant, as the old town offers much more dining options.

Stayed 2 nights at the end of August. V handy for a late flight into girona. Secure and easy parking with bike storage.|Hotel has been renovated in the last couple of years and exceeded our expectations, v spacious room, great bed, Rituals products etc. Pool also much nicer than appears in the photos! |Great breakfast for €12. |About 15 minutes walk in to town mainly through shaded parks (€10 taxi). Loved Girona and its wonderful food scene. |Staff super friendly- recommended!

Our stay at Costa Costabella Hotel in Girona was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is full of charm, beautifully maintained, and all of the facilities were excellent. It was a pleasure to stay there. What truly made our visit exceptional, however, was the outstanding staff. A special thank you to Anya at reception, who was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. She gave us fantastic local recommendations and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Miguel. On the day we checked out, our rental car broke down, and we found ourselves in a very stressful situation. Miguel went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. He contacted several companies on our behalf, spoke with them in Spanish because they didn't speak English, and did everything he could to help us resolve the situation. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help were truly exceptional. Miguel is an absolute star and a real asset to the hotel. Thanks to people like Miguel and Anya, we will remember our stay not only for the beautiful hotel but also for the outstanding hospitality. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Girona.

Very clean hotel. The room size is good for 2 ppl and have spaces to put 2 big luagges. They are very friendly and the carpark is convenient.

I travelled to Girona with my mother in May 2026 and stayed at the Hotel Costabella. It was perfect for our needs. We had a more-than-adequate, spotlessly clean triple room for the two of us, with the added bonus of Rituals products in the bathroom! The continental breakfast was wonderful. and we had dinner one night which was a delight. There is an 'honesty box' system in operation for drinks and snacks during the day and I hope it works well as its a great idea. The pool was clean and perfect for a drip in the hot weather. This hotel is situated approximately four bus-stops from Girona itself, a very walkable city. We had no complaints at all.|The staff lovely and friendly, and helped us out on the last night to make our flight which we nearly missed due to circumstances beyond our control. We will be forever grateful to Anya who was particularly helpful. I would recommend the Hotel Costabella to anyone.

Just spent 5 nights at this fabulous hotel. Everything was spot on. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, nice big room with comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel offers free parking which is a definite bonus, as parking is at a premium in the center. The location is a 15/20 minute gentle walk into the centre with lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The lounges are very comfortable with the addition of an excellent honesty bar. The pool is immaculate and the outside areas are great to relax in. All in all, they have got this spot on!! Some hooks and a set of drawers in the bedroom would be a welcome addition.

For a wider choice, the town center is about a 10-minute drive away, where the pedestrian street Rambla de Llibertat has a whole line of restaurants. The famous El Celler de Can Roca is about 1 kilometer from the hotel. You can also find a supermarket about 2 minutes away by car for snacks and supplies.
